GIRLS ON THE RUN INTERNATIONAL
Mission Statement
Girls on the Run creates and offers empowering after-school programs for girls in grades 3–8. Using a research-based curriculum, the program helps participants build confidence, increase physical activity, and develop life skills such as managing emotions, resolving conflicts, and forming friendships. With the support of trained coaches, girls activate their potential through a combination of physical activities and engaging lessons. The curriculum addresses topics relevant to 8- to 13-year-olds, including empathy, self-expression, and standing up for oneself and others. Each season concludes with a Community Impact Project and a celebratory 5K.
