Mission Statement
River City Inclusive Gym (RCIG) is a 501(c)3 local Richmond non-profit gym (tax ID #83-1813906) that strives to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities through fitness and fun. We’re All In. That’s our motto, and we live by it every day. RCIG is a one-of-a-kind gym that doesn’t exclude anyone. No matter the complexities of the disability, elevated behavior modification needs, or income level, we pride ourselves on never turning anyone away. At RCIG we lead 35 classes and support over 247 athletes EVERY WEEK all with a small but mighty staff of only six. There is no other gym like us! There are over 28,000 school age individuals, and even more adults, with disabilities in the greater Richmond area. We’re All In to reach as many people as possible and provide more athletes the opportunity, time, and confidence to continue to show their strength and build their self-esteem.
