Mission Statement

OUR VISION Promote literacy by spreading the love of reading to all families of preschoolers in Warrick County. OUR MISSION Provide EVERY preschooler in Warrick County with quality books from birth to age five. OUR GOAL Promote academic success by providing the same 60 titles to ALL Warrick County children entering kindergarten in Warrick County Every month, the Dollywood Foundation will send an age-appropriate book to children under the age of five who live in Warrick County. For each $35 donation, a child will receive a FREE book each month for one whole year! The program is funded by donations and grants. Fundraising is ongoing in order to sustain and expand the program. Together, we can bring the world of reading to preschool-aged children and make Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library a legacy for ALL children in Warrick County.
