Mission Statement
Africa Youth Rising is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization operating in Dodowa, Ghana dedicated to providing young people and their families the education, healthcare, and resources they need to escape the relentless cycle of poverty and create multi-generational change. Ultimately, it is our express goal to identify root causes that force families to abandon children to orphanages and disrupt those patterns. We are seeking the elimination of predatory orphanages that are actively harming children for their own gain in favor of stable, self-sustaining families and communities.
