Mission Statement
Our mission is to honor and commemorate the memory of Capt. Ryan S. Phaneuf. Capt. Phaneuf is listed by the Department of Defense as the final airman killed in operations in Afghanistan. In honor of his service and ultimate sacrifice we have established a non-profit organization to preserve his legacy. He was a gifted aviator and was a consummate instructor dedicated to educating and inspiring everyone he met. The focus of his career and his life was helping others, and this memorial fund in his name is a continuation of his incredible legacy.
