Mission Statement

A. To facilitate access for Youth such as education and employment opportunities. B. To create a better understanding between self and desired self in order to expand the insight of Youth. C. To offer a neutral space to encourage open dialog where trust and support may be practiced. D. To use a person-centered approach to mentor change and provide modeling. E. To teach Youth to be responsive, responsible, and mature individuals who are able to meet their own needs. F. To empower Youth to accept responsibility for their actions, while improving their responsive behaviors to others. G. To aid Youth in the process of change who choose to live independently. Bandari House supports the personal change necessary to create mental, physical and social stability. Our mission is based on the following philosophy: A. We believe that an understanding of self and desired creates better insight and improve self-efficacy. B. We believe that everyone has a role and a responsibility in community building. C. We do not do this work in isolation. We believe in the importance of collaborations and alliance building. D. Our work is driven by Youth’s voices. Children and all those affected by trauma and adversity deserve compassionate services, dignity, privacy, and respect. Bandari House uses a multicultural approach to enhance the development and quality of life for Youth; with the goal of helping them experts of self. Bandari House will use a person-centered approach to mentor change and provide modeling; teaching Youth to be responsive, responsible, and mature individuals who are able to meet their own needs. Bandari House will empower Youth to accept responsibility for their actions, while improving their responsive behaviors to others. Bandari House will aid Youth in the process of change who choose to live independently. We believe that diversity, safety, and accessible services are fundamental to personal change. We believe in the power of advocacy, education, prevention, and driving public policy as agents of social change.
