JVB Preksha Meditation center aims to spread Bhagwan Mahavir’s message of Ahinsa Parmo Dharmo to a diverse Houston community (Jains and Non-Jains alike). In so doing, we hope to promote peace through enlightened thinking and strong personal values which will also lead to spiritual upliftment within individuals across the spectrum of humanity. Today, the center is managed by the Board of Directors and an Executive committee and guided by the presence of our learned Samani Jis’ (Jain ascetics) who are assigned by and under the auspicious guidance of Acharya Mahashraman ji, the spiritual head of Jain Vishwa Bharati, India.
