MAGGIE THOMPSON INVITATIONAL INCORPORATED

To serve others in our community by providing complete Thanksgiving dinners to families with hospice patients, to support the eradication of food insecurity in Collin County, and to perform several random acts of kindness. The Maggie Thompson Invitational (MTI) is a “friends and family” charity golf tournament. This is our twelfth year of fundraising. We are a registered 501(c)3 charity. In the past, our tournament has raised funds for the Amity Hospice’s Thanksgiving Dinner, Community Garden Kitchen, the American Red Cross, La Tiendita, and the North Texas Food Bank. The tournament has raised over $60,000 for these causes. In 2025, the MTI will continue to support the Amity Hospice’s Thanksgiving Dinner Drive. Amity Hospice provides a complete Thanksgiving dinner to families who have a member in hospice care. The MTI will also be supporting the Community Garden Kitchen and La Tiendita. Food insecurity is always an issue and worsened in recent years. Finally, we reserve $1,000 to perform ten small Random Acts of Kindness whenever the occasion presents itself.
