Mission Statement

The Oakland Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Bureau (FPB) provides several fire safety and prevention programs to help reduce and or eliminate fire deaths and damages among residents throughout the Oakland community. Our youth educational programs provide children with the knowledge necessary to effectively react to and remain safe in a fire emergency.
