COMMUNITY ACTION MARIN
Mission Statement
As a champion of the most vulnerable and a catalyst for change efforts in Marin County, Community Action Marin makes it possible for people to achieve wellbeing by providing the education, mental health, and vital services they need. As the county's largest non-profit provider of services to individuals and families of low income, our programs facilitate pathways to opportunity and self-sufficiency for those living in poverty, including those who are homeless, children, veterans, older adults, immigrants, and non-English speakers. We put people first, covering unexpected financial needs, providing emergency rental assistance, facilitating access to workforce development opportunities, ensuring high-quality early childhood care, and helping those living with mental illness through mobile outreach teams, drop-in support groups, and peer support services. We are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other. Together, we break down the barriers that get in the way of fair and lasting change, in service to better outcomes for all.
