Mission Statement
The Hi-Tops Dance Group of Speech and Language Development Center are a group of neurologically challenged students and alumni who have benefited greatly from the Dance Team. The learning experience they are participating in has helped them overcome the limitations that sometimes others have put on them because of their disabilities. The dance group has also helped them become more flexible physically, and more able to work together as a team which is often very difficult for challenged individuals. This program has become a very effective 'classroom' where the dancers continue to learn and practice how to get along in the world.
